I just finished doing a clean install on my HTPC and I've ran into some weird issue, but before I get into that here's all the background info I think you will need to help me out. Let me know if you need to know anything else.
Hardware and Software:Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Onboard SPDIF out (coax)
Win 7 x86
Windows Media Player
CoreAVC 1.9.5 + included media splitter
Ac3Filter (have tried all versions)
I need Ac3Filter to get DTS over SPDIF to my amp and that works fine. I got DTS and Dolby EX/ES to work but Stereo AC3 files won't passthrough over SPDIF.
When I try to play these type of files without AC3Filter installed the audio works fine, but as soon as I install it I get nothing. It works fine with VLC and Gspot lets me play it with audio.

This seems like such a stupid problem, but I've been trying to get this to work for a long time now. I am starting to think that there is a problem with WMP utilizing Ac3Filter's settings when it comes to AC3 Stereo but for some reason multichannel works fine.. I am stumped, hopefully somebody here can lead me in the right direction, thanks.
