Okay, so I've upmixed a stereo AC3 to 5.1 surround. Now how do I export a new AC3 file with the new 5.1 channels?

If you want to listen to surround sound in movies and music you have just to set Output format to 3/2+SW 5.1 in Main Settings of AC3Filter. Filter will automatically convert all input formats into defined configuration.
