Hi,
I am trying to play .dts file in winamp 5.56, SB Audigy, Win XP. I have ac3filter 070.b for ac3 movies (works great) and winamp ac3_1_20a plugin. I tryied numerous settings and either it's a rain sound (sometimes crashing winamp) or just 2 columns out of 5 (not stereo- one can hear the difference). DVD and AC3movies work fine. Input/Output levels in plugin show 5 channels. If I switch between Auto/SPDIF wrapped/Padded DTS sometimes one of them makes the rain noise, sometimes the other. Anyway I have to uncheck  use AC3 encoder- it crashes winamp now. (I have tried the latest 1,63b but similar to all versions above 0.70b it does not detect AC3 sound in movies, I had to go back to 0.70b, play something in Power DVD then it start to work again- simple Smiley Always had trouble with AC3, but this time I give up.
Please, help...

The settings follow:
Input format: DTS 3/2.1 (5.1) 44100
User format: PCM16 - 0
Output format: PCM16 3/2.1 (5.1) 44100

Use SPDIF
SPDIF status: Disabled (AC3 encoder disabled)
SPDIF passthrough for: MPA AC3 DTS
  Do not use AC3 encoder
Do not check SPDIF sample rate
  Query for SPDIF output support

Decoding chain:

Hello all  Cool

I currently just burned a dvd using Chettah DvD Burner

The .avi file played fine on the computer and the audio sounded good

When i burned the DVD it had no audio

Chettah's support site told me to download AC3 Filter

I downloaded it and have no idea how to use it, and make sure that when i burn my DVD's they have audio

Can anyone help?

Best
-Mike

Is there any way to switch between audio tracks using ac3filter? The player I'm using is karaoke specific and so there is no audio track selectable within the program itself. Though when I play the video file, the ac3filter icon shows up on the toolbar. Hence, I got the idea to change the audio track through there if possible. I brought this up to the vendor of the karaoke app. But it seem to be low priority for them. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.
