Get support

The best way to get support is to visit support forum. Most probably you'll find solution for your problem there. If you problem is not described there you'll get help on forum faster than by email because forum is supported by community of users.

Bug report

First of all, check following:

  • But maybe it is not a bug? Take a look at support forum and probably you'll find solution for your problem.
  • Maybe it is not AC3Filter. Try to uninstall the filter. Problem persists? If yes, it is not a filter's fault.

Well, now you're sure that it is a real bug. And it breaks you heart so much that you decided to help in bug extermination. In this case do following:

  • Determine conditions under wich this bug appears. Maybe everything works well on another computer (if you have another one)? Or maybe with another media player? With other file? (etc, etc, etc)
  • Describe the problem's point. What happens (no sound, sound distortion, stop of playback, ...), when it happens and under wich circumstances.
  • Describe the way how to reproduce the problem. Step-by-step instruction how to get the problem. Note that when developer of somebody else can reproduce the problem, it may be eliminated muuuuuuch faster.
  • Search Support forum. You may find people with similar problem. In this case post you comment to this topic instead of creating of new one. This will concentrate all information about certain bug at one place thus increasing the chance of problem resolution. You may also report about the bug directly by email. But forum is preferred method because of its public nature.

Use following email for direct contact: . Note that Subject line should contain 'AC3Filter' word due to large amount of spam and automatic filtering. Also email size is limited with 20K. Therefore avoid using HTML mail and do not send large attachments. If you need to send a file, send a short notice and you'll get address where to send your file.
